Please note the following:
The simplest option is to have a hard card and load it before arriving at Bláfjöll.
Click here if you have a hard card.
These cards cost 1,600 ISK and are reusable. They are available for purchase at Olís Norðlingaholt and several N1 stations: Ártúnshöfði, Lækjargata Hafnarfjörður, N1 Háholt in Mosfellsbær, and Hveragerði.
Hard cards and reloads (2-hour, 3-hour, or day passes) can be purchased at N1 Ártúnshöfði, Hafnarfjörður, and Mosfellsbær,
Cards and reloads can also be purchased at the Bláfjöll lodge upon arrival, but there may be queues at the ticket office.
Each season pass is assigned to one person. It is not permitted to share season passes between people, nor can children give their day passes to their parents or vice versa. Staff regularly check cards in the area. Card misuse will result in card deactivation.
Season passes are non-refundable, even during unfavorable winter conditions for winter sports, closures due to epidemics, etc.
The main reason for the pre-New Year discount on season passes is that guests assume the risk of an unpredictable winter, which is rewarded with a discount.
Cards with numbers starting with 08- on the back are unfortunately obsolete and can no longer be loaded. Customers need to purchase new cards for lift access.
